Seat differences, series 2/1000

Hi all.
I have a pair of passenger seats for the front of my 1966 Minor 1000, which means neither have the adjuster handle.
I picked up a cheap very scruffy drivers seat in the hope that I could transfer the covers off one of my front passenger seats onto it so I have a pair of matching seats with adjustment on the drivers. Only thing is I've just realised the drivers seat that I've bought is a series 2 seat, will the later 1000 upholstery fit or do I need to find a later drivers seat to use?

looking at these series 2 seats the later covers will not fit correctly unfortunately so you will need to continue your hunt..
