New complete door locks

Post by Sweeny »

To the good and helpful people of the MMOC,
I am needing to replace the locks on my 1968 traveller. I am thinking to keep the number of keys to a minimum I'll have to replace all the locks. I'm not sure the best place to acquire locks or whether I can use the existing locks. Any advice or methods to tackle this job will be greatfully received.
Many thanks indeed,
Tom :)

You will need to order a complete set of barrels that are "keyed alike", that is they all use the same key number. You will then strip your existing lock assemblies, remove the old barrels, and fit the new ones. All your locks (door, ignition, boot) will then operate with just one key. Most of the normal Minor specialists should be able to supply the correct set of barrels.
