best glue for rubber trim

as title says, what do you use for sticking rubber trim to metal?

I was thinking contact adhesive?

depends what youre sticking but this is good stuff

I see loctite do a black neoprene contact adhesive that would also be suitable and has good resistance

Loctite 442-30540 5-Fl.Oz. Black Contact Adhesive

depends if you ever need to take it off,if permanent tiger seal is what most pros use . think is commercially called sycoflex?? Not sure of spelling .

The same as I used on the parts of new carpets (spray adhesive in a can) has held my boot rubber in place so far.
