I'm not on here much but would like to join in, if that's OK... assuming CC makes it up from Devon OK! I made it to Bletchley Park last year but had to have an assisted exit!!!

Would it be OK to have an MGB GT & E-Type join the crowd? We'd like to make it a family classic day out!

Assuming this is all OK, we'll apply for our passes this week.

Kathryn

Cancel that closing date, better get all entries to me by Thursday 6th May as I don't go over to Shuttleworth on a Friday.

So New Closing Date for Web Group Entries is now Thursday 6th May.

WANTED AD

In case anyone's wondering where it is, I have the website branch banner, 'handed over in a formal ceremony', ooops I mean 'dumped underneath my caravan' at Birmingham Branch Rally a couple of weeks ago, and shall be bringing it to this event. I am seeking a suitable person to carry out the 'banner transporting duties' to pass on the ceremonial duties to. Please note that in order to apply for this prestigious role, you must be a member of good character and preferably a traceable lineage. Nominations of other people who you feel measure up to the required standards can be made c/o Rosie who will sort the wheat from the chaff. In the absence of any suitable nominations, it is possible that we may have to lower the standards and/or run a conscription programme

Cheeky! We asked you to hand it to anyone from the "Website members" as we knew you were going and we couldn't make the Rally! :D Caravan - didn't notice a caravan - just a small oddly shaped "attachment" at the back of your car  xx

Shhh! LOL I'm just hoping I can find someone to give it to!
And Oi, stop taking the rise outa my 'van  . I was at the Regional Rally at Standedge Tunnel last Sunday and they were running trips into the canal tunnel. The guide said "If you get claustrophobic in the tunnel, just shout and we'll back out". I pointed at the caravan 20 yards away and said "I slept in that last night. Don't ya reckon if I suffered from claustrophobia I'd have found out by now?!"

Gates are open from 10am.

The Web Group area is likely to be in Field 1, which is the first field you'll see when you come in the gate. I shall park XVS 953 in the spot where you're all meant to be, so look out for her, and look out for young man in overalls with BMC and SVAS on the front pockets (and possibly a vissy vest) waving frantically at you to go in that direction. This will be me as I am mashaling for the group.

I'll be there from 9.00am, so there's no risk of XVS 953 not being in the right spot when you arrive. So if you don't se me, look out for a little black moggie.
