Fathers'Day at Bo'ness Steam railway

Post by bmcecosse »

15th June - Classic cars and Steam Trains. Free ride on the train if showing your car. Two steam Locos in action -including Morayshire in it's new black BR livery. Photographers paid GOOD money just a few weeks ago to come and take their pictures of her in action - you can do it FREE on 15th June! New tarmac surface in the car park - better than a muddy field...... :o

Now that's tempting, Roy! Lincolnshire to Bo'ness = 620 miles round trip :-? guess that would be a good shake down run for the convertible and identify any issues prior to a visit to NI for the Regional rally in August! I'm gonna think hard about that one!!

I could ask them if there is a prize for the furthest travelled Classic..... The photographers paid £60 per day to take their pictures - and there were 3 days of 'photocharters' .... So you could offset that against your petrol costs.. ? :D

Sounds Good ;-) think the clipper blue with cream hood will look great against the black of Morayshire :-) Thinking hard here :-)
