1962 Almond green traveller for sale

Postby Wal50 » Thu Oct 14, 2021 10:12 am

I have owned the car for the last 3 years in which time it has been fitted with an SU electronic fuel pump, new master cylinder and brake servo, Yuasa battery, electronic ignition and many other minor improvements. It is driven regularly, carefully maintained and always garaged overnight.
It was extensively refurbished in 1999 with complete new woodwork, new steel wings, front disc brakes, wiring loom, alternator, Ford 5 speed gearbox, telescopic shocks front and rear, radio and 1275cc A plus engine. It also has a towbar with electrics.
The car is in very good condition, with sound wood and underside and MOT until August 2022. The bodywork is in good condition with only a few minor blemishes. The interior is sound but could do with some cosmetic improvements.
Overall a traveller able to cope with modern traffic which could be driven as it is or form a rewarding winter project to produce a really eye catching example of the type. Lots of history including bills going back to 1970. Selling to make space for other projects. £7500 ono. Cheshire area.
