Selling my freshly restored 1961 Clipper Blue two door saloon, located in Ashford, Kent. Offers around £6500. Contact Matt on 07733105528 or email matt993fod@hotmail.co.uk

I bought this car on the advice of a friend, only to find it was horribly rotten. To make sure I took as little of a hit on it as possible, I have over the last two years conducted serious restoration work to the car, to make it as good as physically possible for sale. My plan is to use the funds to restore my next project, another Moggy. It's now one of the most honest Moggies you will find, as I've got a comprehensive photo record of all the work done, available on request. Work done is as follows:

-Welding to both front chassis legs and front crossmember
-Replacement of both A-posts
-Repairs to passenger side sill and floors
-Repairs to both front inner wings
-Replacement of both front bump stops
-Replacement of both rear chassis legs
-Extensive repairs to both rear inner wings
-Extensive repairs to the boot floor
-Restoration of drivers side front wing
-Bare metal respray of engine bay and all components
-Fitting of rebored and fully reconditioned 1098 engine
-New Radiator
-New clutch, thrust bearing and all linkage components
-Fitted low mileage gold seal gearbox and reconditioned shift mechanism
-Replaced worn Diff and all axle seals
-Fitted numerous replacement suspension bushes
-Repainted interior, all inner wings and boot floor
-Respray to rear 1/4 of the car and numerous paint repairs
-Replaced wiring harness for all lights and replaced all problem connectors and corroded bullets in engine compartment
-Fitted new indicator stalk
-Fitted good replacement carpet
-New aerial
-Numerous repairs to interior trim
-Waxoyled all box sections and internal structures + Misc rustproofing
-Fitted disc brakes

After all that it looks excellent, and runs and drives like a dream. :)
