THE most important thing by far that we need to know is...

Where is the car that you are selling?
Photo's are very useful, if possible a few at different angles, one of the engine bay and the interior.
And don't forget to put a price as well.

This board has many members from all round the world and in every corner of the U.K. Please ensure you state clearly where your car is located to avoid subsequent criticism and unnecessary questions.

When you describe the car, please give as much information as possible. If the floor or sills have rust holes, or the gearbox jumps out of gear we want to know.

Also:
Please include relevant info in the title:
Year, Type (Traveller, 2dr saloon, 4dr, Van, Pickup), Colour / Condition, Location

Nice to have - if it's a resto project, say this in the title helps to find the right prospective buyer!

Completely unneccessary info in the heading: "sat on drive" or "for sale" etc...

If you want to add more to an ad after you've posted it, you will have to edit it, as you won't be able to add another post to the thread.

Please include details of where the vehicle can be seen, and the price. 'Offers' isn't very helpful, but 'Offers around £xxxx' is much better.

If you've only just registered on the board, make sure that you haven't disabled the e-mail notification for PMs on the user control panel, as that's how you will get replies unless you've given an e-mail address or phone number. If you haven't changed any of the settings, it will work OK.

Ads will be removed from the board after approximately 6 weeks.
