Re: Minor LCB exhaust
Many thanks for the tip, Phil. I got it bought for my Traveller today - I've been meaning to buy a decent exhaust for it for yonks!

Re: Minor LCB exhaust
All fitted on today, and quite a noticeable improvement in overall running and a bassier exhaust note - makes it sound a bit like an MG Midget.

Re: Minor LCB exhaust
i take it these aren't a direct fit for a standard manifold?

Re: Minor LCB exhaust
The Mani-flow exhaust system shown in the link above can be made to fit a truncated standard down pipe from the Minor manifold but there is little point in doing so as the Mani-flow systems performance enhancement will be restricted by the truncated Minor down pipe and Minor exhaust manifold.
I would recommend that the Mani-flow system is fitted in full, that is the LCB manifold and exhaust silencer/pipe or not at all.
A exhaust conversion which I have done several times is to fit a standard 1098cc Midget/Sprite exhaust which has the silencer at the rear of the system and has the exhaust pipe passing under the rear axle and which is mated to the Minor exhaust down pipe.
The Midget/Sprite exhaust system gives better flow and sounds very much better but you do loose the 'Parp'
