Re: split screen chrome surround
Hi,
It appears to have been won for £145.
Given they are like 'hen's teeth', especially in what appeared to be good condition, I'm not surprised.
Fortunately Sally has hers but allot don't.
So I wish you success, that will be a valuable box ticked for parts availability.
Long term, what are you thinking of producing them in? Plated Brass or Stainless Steel?
Best wishes,
Mike.

Hi,
Can you let me know when you have a batch ready and how much you will be looking for a set?
Many thanks,
Mike.

Re: split screen chrome surround
I've never seen any in anything except brass (and then chrome plated) on the "split screen" cars.
The Minor 1000 ones were stainless steel however. Prior to a plastic strip being used later on.
