Temp Guage

Post by g_land »

Folks,

Anyone know where one of these can be bought for the 1098. I think i'm running a bit hot and want to be able to keep and eye on it.

New pref and a good quality one, don't mind spending a few pounds.

Thanks

G

I think ESM sell a sender that fits the 1098 engine and 'classic' looking guage.

quick search online....

ACC201 is the guage, looks like a smiths one
ACC200 is the sender
10M105 is the copper washer for sender

looks like about 40 quid to get the whole lot

It's a gAUge - not a guage!!
Plenty of these at autojumbles - best to get a mechanical one. But if the engine is not losing water - don't worry about it.

Yes I have a mechanical gauge, it seems very accurate and shows temperature after or before the engine is turned on. Often interesting if you've left the car for a while to see if its still warm.
