It would be nice to have internal heater controls, but when they swapped for the 1275 engine they fitted the hand turn valve. and the long unused heater cable has frozen.
So, I've ordered a new control valve and understand I'll probably have to take a nibble out of the battery plate to fit it.
Any advice on how to free the cable? I assume remove it and lot of work with WD40 and a pair of pliers or somthing similar?
