Rear seat belts in a traveller

Post by Rob_Jennings »

Now I'm almost always in the front so its not an issue for me but:

My occasional passengers complain that the seat belts are too short and that they keep 'reeling in' as you go over rough roads so that eventually they are pinned to the seat by one shoulder.

Does anyone have any good solutions to this?

finding a longer belt only solves half the problem and clearly the top wood rail is not suitable for a mounting point or bracket higher up which would be the obvious answer,

I have seen a bar fitted across the load compartment with seat belt mountings fitted to that but I dont know if you can buy it as part of a kit or not, give ESM a call as they are very good on advice for the more unusual problem.
