My 1950 lowlight is fitted with sliding seats in the correct early pattern. It was supplied new to the minstry of supply. There are no other obvious alterations. Ive seen the sliders on a couple of other late cars, but never such an old one.
I have somewhere a hand throttle linkage that was on a 1970 2 door that was beyond saving.

mine is a G-reg trafalger blue saloon too. Sorry for the 18 month delay in replying. I must have been busy...
I'll try and get a picture of the pedal, the seat sliders but the slot in the chassis leg went in the skip with the rest of the rot. I haven't noticed any plates under the bonnet however...

Hi Russ and all
Sorry to take a long time - too busy fixing the car - finished the welding and now sorting out the axles. Bit of a story there - will add to my web site and tell more later.
I have only ever seen one other disabled mog, avan and that was at the Dorset branch rally. Got lots of iffy looking hand controls that I assume were like that on my car. I forgot to take pictures - doh!!

I have 2! I guess that's just greedy.if anyone has one
My 57 2 door and the raymobile (rotten G reg) both started life with special mods via the government scheme.
Neither are roadworthy, although one will be eventually.
I actually know a guy who worked on the AP manumatic system back in the days when it was 'new technology'. Strangely enough he's retired now... I had always meant to plug him for information on the vintages automated clutch system but never got round to it.

Re: disabled car
Hi Ray
It would appear that I possibly have a disabled car from the descriptions on here and the keen eyes of some other club members.
See my P.O.S. post in restorations here http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=40187
Photo 2 shows the door cards
Photo 4 you can just make out the handle for the seat sliders in the pass foot well. I haven't got the sliders out on that side yet.
Photo 5 shows the raised dip switch and the indicator on the left.
There are no other obvious sighs of changes to the brake and clutch pedals though.
Regards
Jon
