2009 MOT-UK

Post by Judge »

It seems that the idea of a UK based MOT, outlined under my previous thread 'An idea for 2009' is proving to be very well supported both online and when talking to people at rallies etc.

In view of this, and of course the time it will take to organise such an event, I am starting this new dedicated thread to invite more potential entrants, and of course further suggestions.

PS This years LEO Run thread is still being viewed, and has now received more than 69,500 hits!!!!!!

So far the favoured site is the Lake District, and the month is September.

I think that if this is going to work successfully for as many people as possible, some date suggestions would be very helpful. The earlier the better please, as arrangements will need to be started asap.

I have just come back from our branch meeting, where I received interest in this event from five members. The most favoured period was July/August.

I would be interested too, the lakes are a great place if the weather is good. Do you know if a date and venue has been set for next years National as it would be a good idea not to have it too close.

Stevey and I went to the lakes after Stanford Hall this year, we found a great car museum at Holker Hall that was well worth a visit and a great way to put in a wet afternoon! Theres also loads of different types of accmodation available in the area.

Too many Minors so little time.....
