Indeed I am :)

The new engine for the minor is in the back of the van, I just need to work out the electronics and wiring, do a bit of tidying in the engine bay etc. I will try and get ti back on the road before xmas dinner with a midget engine :)

Thanks for a great meal yesterday folks

Festive greetings to all who could not make it.

I'm planning to be in Romsey for the Boxing Day car show (weather permitting) otherwise we can go with our plans to set 1 Friday in a month for SADMOG and I'll be there ;-)

SADMOG'ers

a call for help......

don't know if any of you remember Darren, lives in locksheath area has a very nice mm sidevalve that he sort of inherited.

Colin and I went to see it ages ago and diagnosed ignition coil dead and recomended he invest in new leads and cap etc.

had not heard a word from him since but turns out he has been travelling with work a lot. but he is back now and eager to get the car running but needs an expert or two to lend a hand.

I have a firm promise of tea and biscuits supplied on site for those that can lend a hand, if we can work out anything he is missing parts wise and bring them with us as 'lends' until he can buy that would be great (he bought some bits but is unsure of the dizzy cap he has) Also someone that knows thier way round the sidevalve engine would be good (Carlo?)

if we can sort out a friday or weekend who is willing to muck in?

it looked a lovely solid car and would be nice to see it running

second thing.... the Friday meets

how about last Friday of each month? that puts it on the 30th for this month pub? guess we can fix that to the empress to start with, does someone want to ask the landlord to hold a table for us? (work out who can come hope we can russle up 8 or more of us, I'll be there and I'll put some pressure on Jay)

Cheers guys

and Happy New Year to you all
