I camped all the way through the last 2 LEO's (usually on my own though...) so yes if you are a good spendthrift it's a nicie way to go.I wonder if those among us counting our pennies might be able to camp along the way instead of forking out for B&Bs?
I have to admit, my campsites were great (more by luck than judgement) and the one at J'oGroats is friendly, has good showers and has places to put the tent if it gets breezy (which it didn't)

Sorry Andy, it was jusy that Dale posted on there too. You'll have to try it
My answer was, That's basically the idea I had Dale. We have a BBQ, but I thought if there was a number of them it would make things easier.

If you get the chance visit Yew tree farm it is where they filmed the movie Miss Potter, if nothing else it will put you in the mood for the wonderful scenery of the lakes, not far from coniston and a superb route for a rally, there is a cafe there at the farm last time I was there, well worth the stop and one of the properties Beatrix Potter owned I believe.
Thanks for that, I'll have to look into the possibilities. Trouble is that what with what has already been planned, a week won't be long enough
