Mr RAC man was fantastic! really helpful. took the old cable out and just fed through a new cable using the original outer cable, and then put 2 bolt on ends at each end. mmm...extra strength! really really light fluffy clutch now, it's great! only temporary though of course.
and Matt, i tried slamming it into gear, tried starting it in gear, no avail. hey ho, got home in the end, but was a bugger!

Oh and further to last nights discussion re timing.

The vacuum system is toast (pipe and dissy unit) so that spare dissy is going on sooner than I thought.

I did the new TDC mark and the old one was v close. Currently running on the strobe at 10° but as there is no vacuum system I'll wait to see till the dissy get swapped before I adjust it.

Dear SADMOGs

its getting to that time of year again.....

provisional booking that needs to be confirmed by us very soon (by middle of October)

Lunchtime Sunday 13th December 12:30 for 1pm at the Empress

15-95 for adult Christmas dinner
9 for childrens Christmas dinner

deposit of 5 a head required

we could still change pub at this stage if anyone knows a place that
can cater for us and may do a better price? (about 30 people)

please indicate your interest now and I'll sort out menus, venue and
deposit collection

Cheers

oh, and of course any local mog fans are welcome you don't need to be a regular member to join us, feel free to message me or drop a note on this thread

Re. Morris 8 hill climber

Post by ugabugchugabug »

Hello All

Not been on forever, must drive over one Friday and catchup!

Has anyone else seen the Morris 8 Hill Climber on Ebay?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ViewItem&item=180411578747#ht_500wt_1182

We want to know if anyone on here is bidding on this as we don't want to bid against any other SADMOGers and if anyone has gone to see it and what they think about it?

Cheers

Antony

Not that I know of Antony.

How are you mate, not seen you in ages. You two aren't increasing the fleet again surely :) Last I heard you were trying to cut down a bit.

Your obviously welcome any Week but I can understand Friday is a lot easier. Nearly always at The Empress on Fridays now.

Hope to see you soon.

Hi Paul

Were good, it's been a busy time since moving to Haywards Heath. Yes a Friday would be good for us, sounds crazy but will more than likely be in the new year as were off to NZ in a few weeks time.

And perhaps, is the answer to your question about fleet size....

:)
