Welcome to the messageboard!

It's a rare colour but according to this thread the Dulux code is: 02234

http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... g&start=15

It's also been discussed on the morrisdownunder forum which has a different code for enamel paint:

http://www.morrisdownunder.com/forum/vi ... c3c018582f

I don't know if these are 'current' paint codes but as it was only used on Australian vehicles it might be worth posting a message on the morrisdownunder forum to see if anyone can advise. Failing that, do you have a sample of the colour on your Minor? If so, various companies can mix paint to match a sample. Whereabouts in the country are you as someone may be able to recoomend a company local to you.

Like others I am still chasing up the code for murlong grey, I have been transferred to another group called PPG Industries as they took over dulux car paints. They are Melbourne based, I was given a code but was told they couldnt assure it as the chip had fadded and turned yellowish. I took the code to a couple of big automotive paint suppliers and they all agreed it wasnt the same on my morrie 58' two door.
Has anyone out there got the right colour code for Murlong Grey which when finished it looks bluey grey on the vehical as Murlong Grey is known as blue grey paint finish.

Russ would you have the actual coding for the colour so I can take it to my paint supplier and get it mixed up. Or does anyone else out there have the codeing I need. The dulux code 02234 doesnt help me I need the ppg code as they took over from dulux
This is my 1958 2 door I wont to respray, as it still looks good from a distance until you get up close. A little bit about the car

So Phil, or Russ, we’re you successful with ascertaining the equivalent paint code colour for Murlong Grey? Mine was painted in duco a few years ago, (not by me), and my lady received a very unfortunate and nasty stone chip over the weekend. I’d really like to acquire a pot to patch. And I’d like to stay with the duco if possible?
Thanks guys,
Kelly

I think that if desired, the desired shade of paint can be found. If it will not be in those stores that you are used to contacting, you should look at E-Bay.
