Michael

Don't worry about the prefix, I'll first have to concentrate on the type codes.

ie; the "Z" & "BM?" numbers/letters!!

You're correct about the "horn" - several types were used, certainly on "exports". Have a peek through Parts Books and you'll see what I mean!!

Cheers

Chris

Phew, you had me worried there!!!

Are 4drs "BMF"?

Just been given details of a traveller; engine quoted as 10MA-U-H 576 - 476th HC 1098cc! What was/is the chassis nos of the FIRST 1098cc traveller?

Thanks for the pic!!

Thanks Win

The cab code fits in...Z17797...oldest Traveller on my list too!

Bit puzzled by the 3 digit number - is the coil fixed on top of the dynamo...change point 329068/9 (May '55)?

Would you please check to see whether there's a 4th digit?

Presumably body numbers started from 501, the same as the LCV?

The body number saga continues...

Cheers

Hi Chris

The body No ends in 9225. The last digit was lurking behind the self tapper, sorry.

The coil is on the top of the dynamo.

Onwards and upwards.

Thanks again!!!

922 did seem much too low!

Early results thus far - poss. wrong?;

Cab code ranges;

1952 - 1956 "Z12XXX - Z19XXX"
1956 - 1962 "Z20XXX - Z29XXX"
1962 - 1971 "Z3XXXX - Z3XXXX" - latest recorded is Z36054(trav),Z36057(2dr).

Therefore,if you're looking to buy a 1964 traveller and the cab code is "Z36054" there's something wrong!!!!

Very interesting to yours truly,yet mindnumbingly tedious to most!!

Cheers

Hi Chris,

I realise I'm a bit slow on the uptake.. but what numbers do you want from my pick-up (and where do I find them?)

Still need as many chassis/cab/body number combinations as possible!

We cannot continue this massive task without enthusiasts' support and co-operation.

Need the following;

Date of First Regn/Build date;
FULL Chassis nos (first 3/4 digits will do)
FULL Cab/Body number; Z??????? ?????? + any additional plates
Engine Nos
Original Colour

Thanks
