Re: artistic help!
i've sent a link to this thread to my sister. she's a graphic designer, and has designed the logos for our branch, and for pretty much every MOT since 2002!
are there any key themes you want to run with? colour schemes? a modified/custom theme? (these are the artsty fartsy questions she'd be asking! )

nothing really springs to mind other than keeping it simple i suppose and using as few a number of colours as possible.

Re: artistic help!
i love it.. but my first thought ( which is no bad thing by the way ) was of the line in blackadder..
Ludwig was a master of disguise. Whereas Nursy is a sad, insane old woman with an udder fixation
I would love to see what you could come up with for our logo..

Re: artistic help!
I spoke to Rosie about it tonight at branch meeting - I'll see what I can 'rustle' up. See what I did there? Rustle? Oh, never mind...
Do I get to become a custom branch member if I manage something?

Yes - that's what we need - a cow called Bernard! and some mad fool who wants to weep their rewenge! ha ha ha ha
Sorry if you are not au fait with Blackadder - I watched them so much in my youth I can almost quote whole sections of script verbatim - completely sad I know! Just don't ask Mike to tell you about Bob!

Mmm I know - I have found myself doing similar things and it's surpising how many blackadder-isms you can squeeze into the working day - for example:
This meeting is like a broken pencil - pointless
Or making up your own words - to make people think you are smareter than you are! Let's hear it for many contrafibularities on your success!
I have yet to try putting my smalls on my head and two pencils up my nose to claim madness as a way of avoiding meeting the Finance Director and dont think that I can get away with shouting 'Macbeth' at people and expecting them to react as I want them to!
Still, I do have some very odd shaped turnips that look just like a pair of....
