I have the engine and box out of my Traveller and it is on SORN. A chance to fit a new set of 9 in shoes whilst it is off the road.

Well done :D
MOTs are nerve racking. Mine passed a few weeks ago - no advisories - thanks to an excellent mechanic as it had been SORNd for sometime but didn't need anything major doing. Next year it will be down to me - yikes!!

Hi BMC,
Mines due soon and it's always a relief when it's over and done for another year.
A nice car you have there :D (first time I've seen it on here).
Best wishes,
Mike.

Yes Roy a very nice car 8)
Perversely I rather enjoy going to my MOT station. The guy is very classic friendly in fact they were, at one time, a Minor specialist and we always have a good natter while 'we' do the test :D

I see what you mean, what an excellent strategy, I must re-angle my front plate accordingly 8) ...................
Any ideas for the back plate on a saloon???...................

Thanks lads and lasses... I HATE the MOT - same place the 20 years I have owned it - so they know they will never get any work from me - I will be back later the same day to demand a free retest... and he only charges £40. He explained that he can't be seen to be passing everything - he has to maintain a decent 'fail' rate - and he knows full well I will fix whatever trivial thing he finds in an hour or so.... Do you really think the front Reg Plate is a bit low angled ? I wonder how that happened..... :o
