Battery?

Post by PSL184 »

Where is the best place to get a standard Minor battery these days?
What's the best price?
I see Halfords are selling for £40.....

Costco used to be good - it's a while since I was there. I bought a perfectly good inexpensive 'Lucas' for my TR7 which I found online - and picked up locally.

Try your local factors as they will usually match prices if they can. Get one with a 3yr guarantee as they never last that long so you will (hopefully) never need to buy a new one again. Remember where you kept the receipt and remember to register the battery.

I have been using oversized fit the compartment s/h batteries that seem to get dumped around here , they probably wont start the diesel vans they have come off , but work fine on the smaller car, Otherwise some motor factors have short - term deals worth looking at them !
