Speedo Stopped working
When taking the minor for a spin today I noticed that the speedo dial was at 0 mph and weren't moving. This has never happened before Perhaps there is a loose connection behind the gauge but does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Re: Speedo Stopped working
Cable broken, needle sticking on stop pin, drive gear u.s. My MM sticks sometimes as the covering on the needle stop is old so the needle sticks to it. A gentle tap on the rim usually sets it off ok.
Re: Speedo Stopped working
Was the odometer still reading? If not = broken cable. Slight chance of something else - but most likely cable fault....
Re: Speedo Stopped working
The odometer is still working must just be a bit of dirt on the needle I think?

I have managed to fix the speedo just by tapping it like you said. Thanks for the advice it must have been a bit of dirt or something.
