Front wheel bearing update

Hi has anyone got any advice on the following. Which way should the bearings face,the ones that are fitted now are as follows. The inner one has the race facing outwards towards the oil seal and the outer one has the race facing outwards towards the castle nut. Am I correct in saying the inner one is the wrong way round ?. This had been fitted by a modern garage before I purchased it and all work carried out by them was wrong so I wanted to check. Thanks.

From your description the ones already fitted to your hubs are fitted correctly.

Hi if you look at member Islip minor he has a photo of the bearings and how they should be fitted correctly
The date of his post was 19th May 2013, I printed the photo he posted and have it in my workshop manual for future reference
