Hi all, what to hear some peoples experiences in changing the front chassis legs without a rollover jig, how did you go about it, and any pointers?
Cheers
P.s also added a photo of my Morris as some of you were requesting before

Re: Front chassis legs
Most of the welding can be done from above by drilling the welds and replacing with plug welds.
More important than the roll over aspect is making sure you keep it all aligned, you need a level surface from which to make measurements and the car rigidly held in place to stop it moving, take measurements in all dimensions and diagonally to referances you wont be disturbing if possible do one side at a time to keep the other as a regerance. Oh and the front lower arm mounting will probably be distorted so don't put too much empasis on this as a referance.
