New car coming soon.

Post by callyspoy »

Hello folks. Long time, no see.
Having been on a 4 year classic car hiatus (had children, no funds for such frivolity!) the urge for a classic has slowly boiled up.

So, i sold my motorbike and have bought a rather ratty 1958 Minor. Not taken receipt of it yet but i am looking forward to it.
I had a hefty knee surgery yesterday, so i have some time off work, so i will do bits and bobs in the short term, but it is a medium term project.

Anyway, i'll be sure to post lots of nonsense, as always.
Some of you may remember me, if so, you'll know i ask a gazillion questions 😂😂

Hello Rod!
How's life treating you these days? I could do with another car in Gosport for me to get some good spares off!

I'm good, Mate. Got a little two year old myself. Not yet regretted leaving the wonderful Gospit! Watching that old black Minor get weighed in for scrap was a little heart breaking though!

Whats the plan for the 58? I have a 49 sitting in the shed waiting for me to wield the welding torch at it.
