Bumper irons steel ferrules

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if the series mm had steel ferrules fitted to the bumper irons,which are mounted on the inner wings, if they were can you say where I can get hold of them.

I didn't notice anything different between the Lowlight and any other of our cars. Can't be any more specific.

My early car didn't have them fitted when I bought it, not sure if it ever had them fitted though. It still doesn't have them.

My 52 has them front and rear.
