Ash Tray Position
Can anyone send me a pic of the hole position of the hole for this ashtray?
Mine is covered in sound deadening which is glued down and I’m reluctant to lift it all off
Thanks

There is a pic of mine in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=70434
But bear in mind it is a SII and is set at right angles compared to later models - nor sure which model you have?

Mines a 67 saloon
I understood there were holes already there for it
I’m hoping someone has the same model without carpets fitted so I can identify the exact position without removing the felt

Try poking about with a bradawl?
Re: Ash Tray Position
I posted a photo in response to a similar request last year some time, but due to my inabilities in searching I can't find it again now. Here it is again - sorry the quality isn't brilliant, but the screw holes are at about 4.75 and 8 inches along the steel rule.
My car is a 1969 one so I think will be the same as yours.
