That's a beast of a Megger.

Someone currently has '5 available' on ebay with a case, for £30 + £8 shipping.

So yours seems a fair price for anyone interested.
500v is quite a high level, I doubt any original Moggie wiring would pass that. :)
When I was working on aircraft, we used 250v to insulation test 28v wiring.

Clicked on that link, looks like he’s having no luck either ! :D I’d happily give mine to an electrical museum but don’t know if there is one.
