Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what the thread size is in the spare holes adjacent to the o/s damper that the steady rod anchor bracket bolts to?
I tried for ages but the bolts in the kit just would not screw in and I resorted to refurbing the original steady rod with the cups and rubbers from the Grumpy kit.
I fitted the same kit to my Series 2 in about 20 minutes so I'm stumped as to why it is not working with my Series 5.
Grumpy steady bar kit.

Re: Grumpy steady bar kit.
Hi all,
Turns out the threads were full of underseal and ancient Greece!
Ran a tap through to clear it and the kit was on in no time.
A lot better than the wretched original which looks like it was "adjusted" to fit where it wasn't meant to go!

Re: Grumpy steady bar kit.
Well done.
The Grumpys engine steady kit is a a good piece of equipment and well worth the effort of obtaining and fitting.
