How old and what material is the pump to carb hose? Old rubber hoses can break down internally creating a sort of flap (like the valves in your veins) that effectively shuts or severely restricts flow when fuel is pumping quickly. Ethanol in the modern fuels can exacerbate it.

It's virtually new Cohline 2240 Injection hose, bit over the top with a 50bar burst pressure but better safe then sorry!
