Fitting Convertible Seatbelts
Has anyone fitted either fixed or inertia seatbelts into a convertible. If so is there a 'how to' or any photos of an installation.

Re: Fitting Convertible Seatbelts
Front or rear? I have front and rear inertia reel seatbelts in my convertible. I didn’t fit them myself, ESM did. What photos would you like?

Re: Fitting Convertible Seatbelts
Fitting front belts to the convertible is the same as the 2 dr.
There was never a requirement for rear belts in the original lifespan of the Minor.
Instructions, with drawings, are in Section R of the Workshop Manual.

Re: Fitting Convertible Seatbelts
Mountings are built in to the body for the fitting of front seats belts from late 1961 onwards. My own convertible is earlier than that but fitting belts was still simple - to the front and the rear. As somebody has already said, fitting belts to the convertible is exactly the same as a 2 door saloon
