Re: Pinstripe
I’ve not measured but sounds too wide and anyway certainly not in French millimetres!

Re: Pinstripe
I'll measure the stripe tomorrow. My paint is original. Managed to get banned for 7 days from the Facebook group for not liking modified cars.......

Re: Pinstripe
1/16'? Narrower than 4mm. More like 2mm. Strange. In that light my car does actually look grey not blue (smoke grey)

Re: Pinstripe
Much obliged for the replies folks,
I found some stencil tape that comes in all sizes on the web so I will be striping in the next couple of weeks hopefully.

Re: Pinstripe
I presume they were painted freehand originally? I couldn’t possibly attempt that!

Re: Pinstripe
I agree,
I don't have the dexterity to pinstripe freehand and the quotes received from local bodyshop sign writers have prompted me to try the stencil tape and proper 1/4 " artist's brush. Looked at the pearl grey paint which the stripes apparently should be but will be using Old English White to match the wheels and grille. Will post pictures of progress (or lack of) shortly.
