Got nowhere with finding the steering squeak, checked eyebolts OS slightly loose, NS wheel bearing tightened (tapered type) but think I have found what is clonking. It is when the NS front wheels goes over some pot holes. On jacking up under the wishbone I can feel the play/clonk moving the road wheel 3/9 pm and looks to be the track rod end. Could this be causing the squeak/graunch on turning right.
Assume pointless greasing so guess I need a new one. Mine has the grease nipple but are these available.
