I have a 1275 engine block that was given to me. See picture. It's not seized, I have no use for it.
Free to anyone who collects it from WS9 area

Re: 1275cc engine block
You do know these are now worth quite a lot of money? I would like first dibs on that but I cannot collect it particularly soon so if it is terribly in your way perhaps someone else ought to have it.

Re: 1275cc engine block
I suspect that the 1275cc engine block is out of a Maestro and if it is the block/crankshaft will not be so valuable as say a Marina or Ital because of the machining required to fit to a Minor/Sprite or Midget.
A photo of the rear of the crankshaft and the o/s of the block will confirm what vehicle it is out of.

Re: 1275cc engine block
The engine No is 12H 8111 HA 102755.
It came to me with a lot of other items like whitworth spanners and special tools from a deceased estate, the tools came from the Morris plant in Birmingham where they were used to built Minor vans.
The understanding was that I would pass anything I did not need on to help keep the cars in the road.

I think Phil is right. 12H is H for horizontal i.e a transverse engine.
