Can't seem to get the graph to respond to me. I will be 51 at the end of the month and my Traveler is a 1971 model. I wonder is the lack of older members responding more to do with not having computers (Who can blame them?), than not owning Minors? A recent survey suggested that classic car ownership, in general, was most prevalent amongst the over sixties.

Having said that, I can see why a Minor would make sense to younger drivers.

I think this is a pretty ancient survey. Maybe time to revisit and see how things have changed over the past decade?

How about 'how long have you owned a Morris?'

I bought a Trafalgar blue 4 door for £250 way back in '98 when I was 18 which promptly sat in the garage for 8 years due to being rotten. Sadly I never had the confidence to restore it and ended up giving it away on here, would love to know what happened to it.

I finally passed my driving test in 2006, on the Monday, bought the traveller on the Saturday. If I knew then what I know now...!

After 10 years it was time to do a proper restoration, getting far too many holes in all the usual places.

So my first 2 and only cars have been moggies, sadly only driven the traveller.

I really wish I had kept the 4 door. In future I would love to get another 4 door. as well as a Rover P5!
