bulkhead earthing point.

Post by Willie »

Since one of our members has suffered a burn out you may wish
to check the following: On the bulkhead ,about eight inches below
and slightly to the right of the fuse block is an earth connection under
a nut head. This is a very important earth, and if it ceases to make
a good connection the results can be quite serious, such as burnt out
dynamo/wiring etc. CHECK IT NOWand clean it all up if dirty or
rusty.

Does that nut also serve to secure the loom, Willie?
Happy Minoring!

Gareth.....yes, have found a picture which shows that there
should be a loom clamp on that earth point. Oh dear, something
else missing from my car!!
