is there a way to get the smilies onto my posts when replying?
no problem when doing a PM or when posting a new topic!
just when i use the "quick reply" bit at the end of a topic.
when i press the `smilies` button on the bottom left of the text box nothing happens! hopefully this is me just being really thick as usual and missing the obvious!
john.

No John the smileys button doesn't work for me either. My firewalls pop-up blockers stops it, I remember the normal ones mostly but if I need to know what they are I use the 'Post Reply' button and the smileys are listed to the left of the text box.

If you click on 'Add Smilies' it should load up
this page However, your popup blocker may be a little overzealous, as Lee says. You'll need to go into your browser Options to amend that and add the MMOC to a list of 'safe sites'
Happy Minoring!

If you preview your post rather than submitting it you will see the smiles there. Then you can add them brfore submitting.
This message board is like a family - you can't choose the other members!! But remember engine oil is thicker than water.
