What class am I then?!?

Post by heathy12 »

Just discovered this section right down at the bottom of my browser!

Got me thinking, what Class would I come under??!?

My cars a 1957 2 door saloon.

British Racing Green with House of color Glitter rainblow Paint, front Marina Brakes with Servo and gas dampers, Rear ends got an RS2000 axle and Spax dampers. 6 Point Roll cage, Mitsubishi FTO interior.
Currently has a 1300cc Marina lump and big carb. But Ive got a few plans ahead! So a bit more power is on the cards! :P

Minor Mania classed my car with a Barstadisation rating of 4Here! about 4 years ago which was nice! Hoping my ratings will be going up slightly but what do you guys think?!?!

PICCIES!

This would be in the Sports Modified Class, as it's structurally unchanged except the paintwork and very nice looking tail-lights, but like the turbo traveller it has been fitted with uprated non-period running gear.

PS. What are the tail-lights from?

The rear light are from a 1939 Ford Model T I think and are called teardrop lights. They were only fitted to cars made in that year.

They look looooveley! 8) :D

Dead easy to fit, just need a hole chain drilled/cut under the originals and then they pick up on the original (early type) rear light bases. They've got the glass blue dot in the middle too which look nice.

Front indicators are fitted actually!
Bet you can spot them!

EDIT JUST REALISED BUMPERS NOT FITTED!

Indicators are incorperated into the chrome bumper blade bolts! Rear indicators are Ford Model A front fender indicators that will hang from the base of the boot floor under the rear. Nicley hidden away but still visable! You can see the right hand side fitted.

Veri interested indeed how you have done your indicators. I intend to do a similar thing at the back, to get rid of my much hated blobs
