Check number one...

Whenever you think your vehicle is broken down, always check there's petrol in the tank.

Sounds silly I know but I pushed my motorbike 3 miles home today as it stuttered to a halt when I was going to Tesco's. I thought it had broken down but when I got it home I checked the petrol tank and it was bone dry

Put a bit of petrol in and it ring-a-ding-dings nicely again :D

I really do feel like one of the dumbest people on the planet at the moment!

I had this recently, car stuttered to a halt, heard fuel pump ticking more than usual, so assumed petrol, rung friend picked up can, put petrol in, tried to start but died almost as soon as it ran, popped bonnet noticed wire off coil :roll:connected it, started and off I went!
