If you want local hotel / B&B accommodation then book now! I know of several that are already fully booked. It's going to be popular :P

Somebody has suggested before (more than once) about sorting out some form of ID for the website community and as there are going to be quite a few from overseas as well it might be a good idea then we can at least recognise the cars and owners (hopefully) at the rally, does anyone have any suggestions and ideas as to how we go about it.
Cheers

We have a space on Branch Avenue. I would like to suggest that we have our kettle down there and offer tea and chat to passers by. Also we have the famous banner.

Good idea and perhaps somethign for the windscreen of the car if someone can come up with a design we can then create a laminated card for the windscreen.

Branch Avenue is a bit restricted on space, but there should be room if you are camping as the website area tends to be the largest of the campsite area and all will be welcome I think Onne booked for all the website campers in a block booking and within that there were the tea making section and cake and biscuit distribution centers, and Rogerrust even did a panel beating session on a misshaped kettle lid so a Norwegan visitor will be no problem Kim :D and that goes for anyone from Malta or anywhere else for that matter 8)
And we can guarantee that there will be some weather :o

I'll bring my dad's old Optimus petrol stove. Unfortunately the paint I used when I rebuilt it hasn't coped well with the high temperature it gets up to so I'm probably going to have to strip it and try again with celly or something (I could spray it the same colour as Fenchurch!).

Frank,

The list of local hotels can be found on the National Rally 2008 section on the front page. Most are within a 10 mile radius of the event.
