Lowlight window frames?

Post by RobThomas »

I've found enough parts to convert a later frame to the lowlight internal hinge type (except rubbers), all hanging on some very rusted frames.

I recall someone asking for a set of quaterlights a while ago. Anyone remember who it was?

Rob, I maybe interested (pencil me in), just checking some info with Mike. I think the chap who originally asked sometime back has sold his low light. regards Keith

Rob, Mike has replied, yes would be interested in both if available. Mine has no catches, but the correct striker plates. :-)

Update on Derrington, the maker has my drawings, I just need to get my original back and give it to him...then all systems go....

Keith. The handles are missing due to rot but the hinge bits are still there. It is only good as a kit of parts to convert a later frame assembly to internal hinges. You'd need to weld up the holes on a later frame and redrill for the internal hinges. Not worth it unless you're after the last possible degree of originality, I guess.

I'll not have a chance to get a pic until later in the week.
