Problem with signature photo

Post by chickenjohn »

Hi,
I tried to add a pic of my convertible to my signature and then after pressing "update" neither pic shows on my signature, just the HTML code  :(

On removing the convertible pic code, now not even my Traveller picture shows up, just the Image code.

Is this something to do with the new site?? Also, trying to use the "upload function fails". I am using a mac with OS-X 10.2.

Moderators/Admin, please help!!!

Thanks!

I'm going to try posting the pic as part of a thread.

Very odd, posting a pic as part of the body of the message works, but the picture does not work in the signature!! Is there a difference in the way the HTML code is implemented between message body and signature?

Works as part of the body of the message.

Are the pictures too big??? I want to include a fairly decent couple of pics as I have worked very hard and literally spilt blood in the restoration of each car.

I just fixed it ,but hadn't had time to post!

There are 3 boxes under the text field on the amend signature page - these need to be unchecked.

Thanks a bundle BPR!!!!! Brilliant job :D :D :D :D

I can now show off my 1968 convertible "Dibble" with every post, as well as my 1969 Traveller "Ricky".

BTW, if I get complaints my sig pics are too big, I will make efforts to re-size, hopefully, in these days of super fast broadband, there will not be too many complaints.

Hello Admins, please, how do I get both photo's of my beloved cars to appear on the same line???

OK, I've owned my Traveller since 1996 and the convertible since 2006, but have proportionally put so much more work into the roofless one than the wooded one so that each now occupy an equal place in my affections, regard;ess of time owned ( convertible was much worse and needed 4 years of work not six months as per traveller!). SO, how do I display them equally please?
