This year's Renewal has just come in from Footman James for my 18 year old daughter.
Her premium has risen from £630 to £725 - TPF&T with £100 excess.
(No claims made in last 12 months)
I checked with Lancaster and Adrian Flux - they can't better it.
That's a straight 15% increase on last year - which is line with market trends.
It's just a shame that 15% of a big number means an even bigger number!!

The MMOC is I believe the only classic car club able to offer it's young (under 25) owners insurance (through FootmanJames.)

Unfortunately all insurance has gone up :(

Dave@FJ - your not being enturely accurate (and I have checked) RH will cover under 25's in some vehicles if you are a member of an owners club - mainly Austin7's - but not Morris MInors owners?

RH would not cover me last year when I bought my Morris 1000 van and I was 42.Yet they had insured my A35 van which I used for work for the previous 14 years with no problem.Only Footman James would insure my van and that has gone up £23 from last year to £159.

Not quite as simple as that.....you'd have to fit a whole load of other criteria....which 99% of the population couldn't!
