1275 swap and insurance.
i was wondering if any of the younger members have any information for me about insurance prices in relation to having a 1275 installed rather than the 1098. the reason i ask is because i an 19 and i am thinking of putting a 1275 in with in the next 12 months or so. Any information will be appreciated.

Ifs it's any use, I've had a very modified morris since I was around 19 and my insurance has never been over £400 with it parked on a drive.

Re: 1275 swap and insurance.
I swapped the 948 twin carb for a 1098 single carb in my frog eye and the insurance went down by £8! I only paid £10 for the 1098 and got a £2 refund on the 948 from the scrappy so I broke even. Unfortunately, I sold the frog for £140 but then this was 1970....
