Hi, I'm cracking on with my build and wondered for all you people with ford escort axles, did anyone fit it to the existing morris setup or did everyone go down the turret damper route? I only ask, because although I will go down this route, I just want to get the car together and thought surely to get some wider damper brackets would cost pennies? The other thing is what bump stops did people use, has everyone used modified thinner axle saddles and the morris bump stops or did anyone use the ford saddles and bump stops and custom brackets?
Hope that makes sense, it's causing a lot of head scratching my end!

Bear in mind that turreting the dampers lands you in 'modified bodyshell' territory, and might end up with you having to put the car through a BIVA test.
