I see others have recently reported problems with new master cylinders, so I thought I need to report this.
I installed a new MC lab labelled "Lockheed" (purchased from DMG, (moderator to delete if necessary)), installed & commissioned in Feb this year.
Last weekend on routine inspection I noticed a brake fluid dribble from the chassis leg. Only dribbled when brakes are used.
I removed the MC cover plate and the rubber boot that covers the plunger rod is wet inside...
I guess this is another bad MC and the seals are on their way out. I can't say I'm looking forward to replacing the MC so soon after installation.
