Re: REVERSE GEAR
'leaf spring kit' ?? What have you changed? What springs did you use? Are they fitted right way round - leaf clamps on the front half of the spring unless it comes with clamps both front and rear. Poly bushes used ? Lubricated on assembly? Did you leave the suspension 'loose' until the car was back down on it's wheels - only then do you tighten it all up. And -is the wire link present and correct on the back of the gearbox ?
Re: REVERSE GEAR
It may help if you remove that wheel clamp from your front wheel.

Re: REVERSE GEAR
I think it would be better to turn them round - lub the bushes if poly - and leave it all 'loose' till the weight is on the wheels - bounce it a few times and then tighten up while the weight is STILL on the wheels. To make it easier - you can just lower the car onto axle stands under the (obviously...) axle.... And lighten up about the wee joke !
You think you have a problem? Try being up here in Scotland where a few loud mouthed idiots are trying to rip us away from the United Kingdom!
