Re: clarkson
Nope. In fact, he's not a fan, having criticised such guests as Seasick Steve and Chris Evans for owning them.

Re: clarkson
Well, he is a gob on a stick but a pretty good journalist when you look behind the headlines. I like the fact that he's 'politically incorrect' . I think we need more people like him....love or hate them, they aren't bland. I like folk like him ,Dennis Skinner, Boris Johnson etc. As classic car drivers we are probably mostly a bit rebellious so I say keep the likes of them going. Oh,and if he did punch a BBC producer perhaps they deserved it....I could often happily smack some of the BBC people. Interesting the number of people joining the 'keep Carkson' petition....

Re: clarkson
Top Gear is the ONLY programme I actually make a point of watching ... He MAKES the programme - the other two are just the supporting act... Mr Tymon looks like he could do with a good smacking...... I'm surprised Clarkson held back for so long... And it turns out all this was last week - it now seems Clarkson reported the fracas, probably trying to preempt an official complaint... And surely - when there is an incident/fracas between two employees - BOTH are suspended until there is an investigation.... To only suspend ONE of them pre-judges the guilt... The BBC just find him too irreverent for their liking, and have been looking for an excuse... Clarkson is a knob - and that's the way we like him, that's the way we like him!
But don't worry - ITV and Sky are slavering in the wings with offers - all 3 presenters' contracts with the BBC run out at the end of April.....
Edited in light of new facts...

I wonder if a certain tabloid has had any influence on the charges being made? 'My Clarkson Hell' front page coming to a rag near you.
